Lot 57: An Antique Diamond, Enamel and Gold Brooch, Fabergé, circa 1895

The small circle brooch with translucent crimson guilloche enamel, featuring a trefoil motif decorated with a trio of old mine-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.15 carats, and a rose-cut diamond stem, in 14k gold

Weight: 6.8 grams
Brooch measuring 26 mm diameter
Marks: pin stem and clasp stamped with partial Imperial Warrant mark of Faberge, and French import mark
Old mine-cut diamonds I-J colour, VS clarity
The enamel was redone with resin enamel, with a small chip near the hinge, one tiny rose-cut diamond deficient, and there is one replacement modern tiny diamond. Signs of solder repair in the middle of the stem, and where it attaches to the circle. Otherwise in good condition
