Lot 138: A Ruby, Diamond and Gold Line Bracelet

Composed of a continuous row with nineteen round rubies weighing approximately 6.85 carats, alternating with nineteen round and old-cut diamonds weighing approximately 5.70 carats, in rhodium plated 18k gold, length 6 3/4 inches

Bracelet width 4 mm
Rubies of a medium tone of intense pinkish red colour, good clarity, good matching. It is Dupuis' opinion that there is no indication of heat treatment. It is Dupuis' opinion that features found in the rubies are consistent with features found in rubies known to have originated in Myanmar (formerly Burma)
Diamonds H-K colour, SI1-I2 clarity
Good condition, the strap is slightly curved when placed on a flat surface, not noticeable when worn
Originally in yellow gold, has been rhodium plated to give a white appearance. May require the occasional replating.
