Suspending a pair of cushion-shaped rubies weighing approximately 3.75 carats, amid frames of old European and old mine-cut diamonds, surmounted by trios of round diamonds, the diamonds weighing approximately 4.00 carats, in 14k gold

Rubies estimated: 6.95 x 8.15 x 3.95 mm, 2.05ct; 7.00 x 7.64 x 3.40 mm, 1.70ct, of a medium tone of intense red colour, very good matching, good cut. It is Dupuis' opinion that there is no indication of heat treatment. It is Dupuis' opinion that features found in the rubies are consistent with features found in rubies known to have originated in Myanmar (formerly Burma). With minor surface abrasions, surface reaching feathers and minor cavities, minor chips on the girdle.
