Sapphire, of a medium light tone of uniform, slightly violetish blue colour, exhibiting a low to moderate strength well centred six rayed star. It is Dupuis' opinion that there is no indication of heat treatment. It is Dupuis' opinion that features found in the sapphire are coonsistent with features found in sapphires known to have originated in Sri Lanka.
