When he notably became the first American to walk in space on June 3 1965, NASA astronaut Edward Higgins 'Ed’ White II, according to various references, wore not only one, but two Speedmasters ref.105.003, each set to a different time zone; nicknamed the 'Ed White' Speedmaster, this model acknowledges this spectacularly momentous accomplishment in early astronautic history.

The watches have not been tested to verify accuracy. Dupuis does not guarantee ongoing operation of movements; it is suggested that timepieces receive routine service.
