In good condition, with signs of normal wear. Ruby measuring 11.48 x 7.63 x 4.59 mm, with a medium dark tone of slightly violetish red colour. The ruby exhibits a faint cat's eye along the ruby's length. It is Dupuis' opinion that there is no evidence of heat treatment.
