Designed as a highly dimensional spider with textured legs, the body composed of an oval amethyst and old European-cut diamonds, accented with demantoid garnets and small emerald eyes, in 14k gold

In good condition, commensurate with age. The amethyst, of a medium light tone of lavender colour, good clarity. The diamonds estimated to weigh 2.40 carats, K-L colour, SI2-I1 clarity. The demantoid garnets, of a medium tone of bright yellowish green colour, good clarity, good cut, good matching. One demantoid garnet has been replaced by a fragment of peridot. The emeralds, of a medium green colour, nicked at the girdle. Length 1 7/8 inches (47 mm).
