Conch pearls are formed in the queen conch, a shellfish found in the Caribbean Sea. Of a light to medium pink colour, somewhat mottled, triangular pear shaped, tiny yellow spots in one area. The pearl has a bright, shiny surface. The conch pearl exhibits a moderate "flame" appearance in its structure. The wavy "flame" structure is highly desired in Conch pearls.
