Centering a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 1.70 carats, between a pair of round old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.30 carats, in platinum and 18k gold, size 5 1/2

In good condition. The sapphire of a medium dark tone of blue colour, very good clarity. It is Dupuis' opinion that there is no indication of heat treatment. The diamonds very well matched. Dingwall was a Canadian fine jewellery manufacturer, retailer, and mail order company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, established in 1882, and operating until Dingwall was purchased by Henry Birks and Sons in 1933.
