The oval cameo depicting the profile of a gentleman, framed by four pearls, and old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.20 carats, in platinum and 14k gold

In good condition. The cameo of very fine carving, matte texture background, and light polish on the figure, in very good condition. The figure unknown, but reminiscent of Mark Twain. The cameo signed "EG". The latch replaced. The pearls measuring 4.6-4.9 mm, of a light cream colour, medium to bright lustre, mixed overtones, not tested for natural origin. The diamonds G-H-I colour, SI clarity. Length 2 inches (53 mm). The reverse with a retractable pendant loop.
