The circular form with tubular frame, central plaque of cruciform design embellished by polychrome tesserae depicting the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove within floral and harvest motifs and the Latin inscription 'In Deo Spes', and symbols for Alpha and Omega, surrounded by beaded scroll cardinal points, mounted in 18k gold, late 19th century
