Manual winding movement, circular hunter case with push button at 6 o'clock, white porcelain dial with Arabic numerals, luminescent hands, subsidiary dial for constant seconds, screw down back, joined to a black leather strap, in sterling silver
This watch belonged to WW1 Lieutenant H.E Bates from the 66 Battery of the Canadian Field Artillery, part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force that fought on the front lines in France during the First World War.

Case: serial 697291, signed Rolex and W&D for Wilsdorf & Davis, case back inscribed H.E.Bates, C.E.F., 66 Batt, C.F.A, Baptist

Overall condition is good considering the age with a few numerals on dial wearing off slightly, a few dents on case
