The INCO medal composed of a very large, heavy circular sculpted plaque, awarded by the International Nickel Co., for distinguished service to the Canadian mineral industry, one side depicting Vulcan, the Roman god of metalworking and the obverse with a beaver and mining tools, measuring 76 mm and weighing 397.6 grams, in platinum, with fitted box
