The elaborate hunter case decorated on either side with deep purple guilloché enamel centering a twin crescent moon cartouche motif set with rose-cut diamonds, within a finely engraved gold surround, opening to reveal a white dial with Roman numerals, keyless winding movement, in 18k gold; together with a long trace linking chain accented by corded and royal blue enamel beads, in 14k gold, length 59 inches, late 19th century
