The openwork arch extending tapering articulated shield-shaped plaques decorated with old European-cut diamonds and pierced with filigree floral motifs and scrolls, centering a later added cultured pearl, and accented by a pair of plique-a-jour enamel sea-serpents, mounted in platinum and 18k gold, French assay marks
