Lot 382: A Ruby, Diamond and Platinum Ring

The asymmetrical floral motif set with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing approximately 1.30 carats, accented by baguette, marquise-cut and round diamonds weighing approximately 1.25 carats, mounted in platinum

Size: 6 1/2
Dimensions: 21 mm high at the top
Ruby: A medium tone of intense very slightly pinkish red colour, good clarity. It is Dupuis' opinion that features found in the ruby are consistent with features found in rubies known to have originated in Myanmar (formerly Burma). It is Dupuis' opinion that there are no indications of heat treatment. Minor abrasions on table and chip at the girdle
Diamonds: G-H colour, VS-SI clarity
The shoulders and shank extend very attractively and unusually from one edge of the floral motif which is not designed in the standard manner directly centered atop the shank.
Good condition, with normal wear
