Lot 218: A Jadeite Pendant and a Belle Époque Diamond, Pearl and Platinum Necklace

The carved jadeite pendant depicting flowers and foliage, measuring 40.2 mm by 54.6 mm by 12.7 mm, suspending from a black grosgrain ribbon with stations of Belle Époque floral motifs accented by rose-cut diamonds and seed pearls, mounted in platinum and gold, French assay marks, length 28 inches
With report 6204261247 dated 8 May 2019 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the jadeite jade is natural colour. No indications of impregnation.

Jadeite: later added; Of a light to medium tone of mottled green colour, it is Dupuis' opinion that the colour is of natural origin. Good carving, moderate translucency
Belle Époque elements circa 1915
Good condition, with normal wear, one tiny diamond deficient
