Lot 410: A Diamond, Jadeite and Platinum Ring, circa 1920

The extra wide band with angular sides, the top panel centering two rows of old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.20 carats, between carved jadeite plaques, mounted in platinum, size 5 3/4

Dimensions: 19 mm wide
Diamonds: G-I colour, SI-I1, one chipped at the girdle
Jadeite: measuring 18.5 x 12 x 1.6mm, mottled green colour, low translucency; it is Dupuis' opinion that the colour is of natural origin, with surface abrasion, both are cracked
The shank is curved beyond the angled jade plaques
The platinum setting in good condition
