Hammer Price
$8,000 CAN

The tiered oval frame set with a finely carved paste cameo depicting the profile of a classical lady, amid white enamel dot trim and black enamel edges, surrounded by a border of split-pearls, glazed compartment on the reverse, mounted in 18k gold, maker's mark C.G. for Carlo Giuliano, with original box

Dimensions: 63 x 35 mm
Weight: 25.7 grams
The work of Giuliano is among the most desired and collectible in the world of antique jewels.
Giuliano is famed for the use of black and white enamel. This pendant features zig-zag form black enamel triangles around the edge of the cameo bezel, which is also topped with gold dots within white enamel. The delicate and fine enamel work is subtle and is classic Giuliano work.
Good general condition with a few minor bruises on the painted blue background left side, otherwise the cameo appears intact
