Lot 42: A Gold Coin Bracelet

The broad hinged strap comprising a series of six 20 Mark German gold coins depicting various kings, within broad octagonal brushed textured frames, mounted in 14k gold, length 7 inches

Dimensions: 27 mm wide
Coins dating: 1888-Wilhelm I, 1874-Ludwig II, 1888-Friedrich III, 1905-Wilhelm II, 1874-Ludwig II, and 1888-Wilhelm I
In the year 1888, there were three different Kaisers: Wilhelm I (died March 9, 1888), Friedrich III (King of Prussia and Emperor of Germany for 99 days, died June 15, 1888), and Wilhelm II, last Emperor of Germany and King of Prussia, from 1888-1918). While the bracelet does not feature an 1888 coin of Wilhelm II, it does feature a coin of Wilhelm II from a later date (1905).
