With ten graduated shell cameos depicting figures of antiquity
• Largest cameo measuring 1 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches (37 x 45 mm)
• Length 17 3/4 inches
• Frames in 14k gold
• Chains in 18k gold

In good condition with wear commensurate with age, including a crack in the two largest cameos.
Each frame bears a Papal States hallmark. circa 1850
The chain is antique, but likely added in the later 19th Century.
