Lot 22: An Art Deco Ruby, Diamond and Platinum Ring, circa 1930

Set with a octagonal ruby weighing approximately 1.50 carats, accented by baguette-cut rubies, round and baguette-cut diamonds, in platinum

In good condition. The ring measuring size 5 with the sizing panel, approximately size 7 3/4 if the panel would be removed. The rubies of a medium tone of pink-red colour, noticeably included, with one small ruby chipped. It is Dupuis' opinion that there is no indication of heat treatment. It is Dupuis' opinion that features found in the rubies are consistent with features found in rubies known to have originated in Myanmar (formerly Burma). The diamonds estimated to weigh 0.65 carat, H-I-J colour, SI-I1 clarity.
