Pear-shaped sapphire: 12.9 x 9.68 x 5.65mm, of a medium light tone of very slightly violetish blue colour, moderately included, minor abrasions to facet junctions under magnification. It is Dupuis' opinion that the gem exhibits no detectable evidence of thermal enhancement.
Oval sapphire: O10.1 x 7.80 x 4.10mm, of a medium dark tone of slightly violetish blue colour, lightly included
Diamonds: Total approximate weight, 4.00 carats, of H-L colour, VS1-I1 clarity
Backing: with a small pendant loop on top; removable brooch attachment (screw-down type)
In good overall condition, signs of repair/alteration to claws surrounding the oval sapphire
