Sapphire: of a medium tone of slightly violetish blue, medium translucency, a well formed and distinct star. There is a small natural cavity to one side. It is Dupuis' opinion that there is no detectable evidence of heat treatment. It is Dupuis' opinion that features found in the sapphire are consistent with featured found in sapphires known to have originated in Sri Lanka.
Good general condition, shank with a dent, and superficial scratching from normal wear
